Counseling
Counseling should actually work. It works best when there’s a real agreement between you and your therapist on what you want to accomplish, you and your therapist set defined and measurable goals, and then your therapist supports you, with science-backed approaches, to move towards those goals in a way you can feel. I strongly believe you can’t make progress if I don’t find ways to challenge you.
Treatment Planning
A great treatment plan shouldn’t just look at what’s going on inside you emotionally. It should look at who you are, where you live, your culture, your background, your beliefs, your values, where you work, your school, your dreams, and the ways that you express yourself. It should fit who you are and who you want to be if it’s really going to get you to your goals.
I will work with you and I can coordinate with other important people (doctors, teachers, etc.) in your life to help you get to where you want to be.
Workshops
Workshops on engaging topics, like parenting, discipline, handling tantrums, and feeling emotionally closer with your spouse, offer a fun way to interact with an expert, not a reddit thread, about things that you and your family might want to learn more about, in a safe and welcoming environment.
